When you’re starting out, you’re eager for some kind of feedback on your work. Did it resonate? What could be better? Did they like it? Maslow in full effect here.
I’ve had a few stabs at blogging, sharing thougths and trying to build an audience. I always ended up losing whatever momentum I did have, more or less abandoning the project. I guess I too easily succumb to entitlement; that since I didn’t get much feedback, it wasn’t worth it. But of course, that’s not how it works. You earn it by doing the work.
